In Wix, add an Embed HTML element to a test page and paste the entire code above into it. Make the box fairly large—I would start around 1,000–1,200 pixels wide and 900 pixels tall—and preview the page.

At first, the covers will be blank because you'll see lines such as:

The search box searches artist, album, catalog number AND matrix, which I included specifically because of what we've discovered about your inventory lately. So someone could literally search:

I also included RARE / ODDITIES, SEALED, PROMOS and SOLD buttons, along with a pop-up collector information card and VIEW / BUY button.

Once you get this basic version successfully displaying on a test Wix page, don't spend a lot of time decorating it yourself. Bring me a screenshot of how it looks on your actual site. We can then turn this basic prototype into the much more convincing Crescent Music Exchange virtual CD shop we were imagining—wood shelves, jewel-case effects, your wooden signage, better price stickers, and actual album art.

You're very welcome, Michael. I'm glad you got it running on the site already—that's the hardest psychological hurdle with something like this. Once it's actually displaying, everything from here is just refinement.

When you're ready, bring me a screenshot and tell me anything that feels wrong: too large, too small, covers too far apart, wood too dark, pop-up awkward, search bar ugly, mobile version bad—anything. We can adjust it a piece at a time rather than rebuilding everything.

And once the mechanics are right, that's when I'd have some fun with it visually—make it feel less like a web database and more like walking up to a wall of jewel cases in an old record store. That could fit Crescent Music Exchange extremely well.
